Who We Are

Since opening our doors seven years ago, Saratoga Wine & Spirits has prided itself on being a locally owned and operated business that maintains close ties to the surrounding community. After several successful years in Saratoga Springs, we opened our beautiful new location at 2100 Doubleday Avenue in the village of Ballston Spa. Located smack in the middle of Carousel Village, we are conveniently situated and there's never a shortage of parking!

Our beautiful new store offers a huge selection of wines and spirits to suit ALL tastes and pocketbooks. Check out our sales, specials and tastings happening throughout the year. Too busy to stop in? Take advantage of our online ordering and delivery service!

Gerard Moser is the sole owner of Saratoga Wine and Spirits, which he opened in 2016.  A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America (CIA), Gerard has more than 45 years of experience in the hospitality industry as a chef. He has also spent 11 years as an adjunct instructor teaching culinary arts.

Gerard has owned and operated three restaurants and has worked in large hotels such as the Opryland Hotel in Nashville. 

"To me, the wine business is an extension of food. Some of my favorite wines are the ones that pair well with food.  I realize all wines pair with food, but in my experience some wines are better then others. There are wines that are best consumed without food. Stop in an ask me - or one of our experienced staff - about the best wines for your particular occasion!"
